What is Citi MobileSM for Cards?
Citi Mobile for Cards is a mobile banking service that enables you to view your Citi credit card account balances, recent transactions, payment due dates, minimum amount due, available credit line and current rewards activity from supported mobile devices through supported mobile carriers or operators. How do I enroll in Citi Mobile for Cards?
Enrollment takes place within Account Online and is coordinated with your mobile device. You must have a supported device with access to the Internet.

To enroll, select Citi Mobile for Cards from the Tools & Services page in Account Online. Follow the steps to enroll, download and install the mobile banking application on your device. Note: An increasing number of devices already have the application pre-installed, so no download is required.Back to top

What are the fees for Citi Mobile for Cards?
We do not charge any fees for the Citi Mobile for Cards service, however, operator connectivity and data usage rates may apply. Contact your wireless service operator for more details.Back to top

Is Citi Mobile for Cards Secure?
Yes. Citi Mobile requires a 6-digit PIN to access the application, and all data placed into local storage on your mobile device is first encrypted at 128 bit SSL. This ensures that if your mobile device is lost or stolen, the data stored locally for the mobile banking application is unreadable. Only demographic information, such as account nicknames, is stored on your mobile device.Back to top

Do I have to be registered in Account Online to enroll in Citi Mobile for Cards?
Yes. For security purposes, Citi Mobile for Cards enrollment takes place within Account Online.Back to top

I am already enrolled in Citi Mobile for Cards to access my Citibank bank account. Do I need to re-enroll my Citi cards account?
Yes. Currently the mobile services offered by Citibank and Citi cards are different.  You will need to enroll in each program separately.Back to top

Can I view all of my credit card accounts through Citi Mobile for Cards?
Yes. With Citi Mobile for Cards, you can access any or all of your eligible Citi credit card accounts in Account Online through one mobile phone number.Back to top

How are the account nicknames assigned and changed?
Citi Mobile for Cards nicknames can be added or edited in the mobile banking section in Account Online. Note: Citi Mobile for Cards nicknames are not the same as the account nicknames in Account Online.Back to top

How do I access accounts that I open after enrolling in Citi Mobile for Cards?
You must be able to view the account in Account Online before you can access it through Citi Mobile. If you open new accounts after you have enrolled in Citi Mobile for Cards, you must first enroll the new accounts in Account Online to enroll them in Citi Mobile for Cards. You may add or delete accounts from the mobile banking section within Account Online.Back to top

What are the requirements for the PIN?
Your PIN must be a 6-digit number. For security reasons, the PIN can not be comprised of all the same digits (111111) nor sequential digits (123456, 345678, etc).Back to top

Can I use the same PIN as I use for Account Online?
No. The requirements for your Account Online PIN are different from the requirements for Citi Mobile for Cards.Back to top

How many incorrect login attempts result in the mobile banking application locking out?
After the third invalid PIN entry, the mobile banking application will become locked. You can unlock or reset your PIN on the mobile banking screen within Account Online.Back to top

How do I change my PIN?
Select Settings from the main menu on your mobile device. Then choose Change PIN and follow the instructions.Back to top

What if I lose my mobile device?
If your device is lost, select Lost Device on the mobile banking page in Account Online to disable the application on your mobile device.

Keep in mind that the mobile banking application cannot be accessed without your 6-digit PIN. If someone attempts to guess your PIN, they will have three attempts before the application is locked. Back to top

How can I reactivate the mobile banking application after deactivation?
You can reactivate Citi Mobile for Cards within Account Online. Click "Enroll in or Manage Citi Mobile for Cards" from Account Home. Once you're on the Citi Mobile page, just select the device that has been marked Lost and then select Activate Device. You will receive an Activation Code that you will enter into your mobile device. After successfully entering the code, you will be prompted to create and confirm a new PIN.Back to top

Can my authorized users also have access to my account through mobile banking?
Yes. As long as an individual has access to your credit card account through Account Online and a supported mobile device and operator, they can use Citi Mobile for Cards to access your account information. Back to top

Can I use multiple mobile devices to access Citi Mobile for Cards?
Yes. You can have multiple mobile devices to view your accounts in mobile banking. To add a mobile device to your account, choose Add Device from the mobile banking section and follow the instructions.Back to top

How current is the balance information?
The Account Balances screen displays the date and time of the balance information. At the time of the download and installation of Citi Mobile for Cards, all times default to Eastern Standard Time. You may configure the time zone through the Settings menu within the mobile banking application. Once you change the time zone, the balances will reflect the new time zone immediately.

You may select Refresh to get an updated balance. If the mobile banking application is offline, the Account Balances screen will display the last successful date and time that the device is connected to the mobile banking server.Back to top

What is the time zone on the mobile banking application?
The time zone defaults to Eastern Standard Time at the time of the download and installation of mobile banking. You can select the time zone for your mobile banking application under Settings within the mobile banking application. Once you change the time zone, your balance will reflect the change immediately.Back to top

Synchronize enables you to retrieve the latest balances and account information. Back to top

How long can Citi Mobile for Cards be inactive?
If you do not access Citi Mobile for Cards for 180 days, it will become inactive. You will have to re-enroll to continue to view your credit card account information from your mobile device.Back to top
